I love the way my house turned out. The many of my neighbors wish they had lp Smartside. My House is not made of Plastic and does not collect dirt like vinyl. I do not have to recommend lp Smartside to friends. They notice it and ask about it.

We have had our LP Smartside Wood Siding for almost 6 months. I love the beautiful, authentic look of real wood that the LP Smartside Wood Siding has. The Smartside wood siding is free of knots so you don't waste time sorting through flawed pieces. The LP SmartSide Siding products come pre-primed from the factory to take paint well, delivering optimal adhesion and consistent application. I also was impressed with their SmartGuard manufacturing process which helps protect against termite damage and fungal decay. The LP Smartside Wood Siding came with an excellent transferable warranty that covers 100% labor and replacement. I have never had to repair or replace any pieces to date. I would definitely purchase this same brand again and recommend it to friends.

LP Review: "not so great"

not so happy My previous house was covered with smart panel wood siding. I was somewhat happy with this brand of siding. I like the looks of the siding, it was very nice looking. I didn't like the structure of the siding; it dents very easily and chips very easily. I have had to replace a few pieces of it, because of a hail storm, I paid someone to do it and they charged quite a bit of money. I also had to clean the siding often, and re paint it more often than I wished to. I would not recommend this siding to my friends because it is expensive and takes maintenance to keep it looking nice. I don't know if it was the brand that was bad, I just wood siding in general. I am much happier with the steel siding that I currently have on my new house.
