Goodfellow Review: "What crap"

I would definately not recommend this outdoor wood siding product to anybody in Quebec. I had the front of my house re-done with this wood. $15,000 installed a year and half ago. The wood-siding was installed in the fall Sept 2010. By the spring it was already faded. The summer 2011 wood faded ever more and when it would rain it would look like the wood was absorbing the water. The maufacturer guarantees the product will not fade for at least min 5years. The wood rotted and i feel like removing each plank off personally and smashing against the heads of my contractor and the producers of this product. I spoke to the contractor who installed this crap to come take a look and he tells me that lots of people have been complaining.

Goodfellow Review: "I like my wood siding."

Wood Siding Satisfaction Rating:
I owned my wood siding for over 15 years. It's been through storms, hail, and sun abuse. It still looks great. I love the natural wood color and stain. It was the easiest thing to upgrade on my house. The wood siding went up in a jiffy. I don't like that the maintenance is painstaking to keep it looking new. I also dislike, that you just cant clean it with just any product. I had some water damage to the siding one year, from a water break. I had to replace it with the same Goodfellow Tradition siding. I have not did anything else to it. I would recommend that brand to anyone.
