Our vinyl siding was put on about 15 years ago and it still looks like the day it went on. It is easy to clean and has a roughed surface so it looks sort of like wood but is still clearly vinyl.

Georgia Pacific Review: "Very fragile, colors fading differently"

We bought our home two years ago, was told the siding was put on the house when it was built in 1999 and the brand is Georgia Pacific. If you touch the siding it cracks, breaks, shatters etc. There are so many broken pieces that we are planning on residing this spring. The colors are different and it is frustrating to look at.

Has a nice woodgrain look, but has a couple of holes here and there. It doesn't bend and dent like aluminum, but it can break. It does fade over time. Keep away from direct heat like a grill.

Georgia Pacific Review: "Sink It!"

This siding does not last. It warps, it cracks and it breaks. We have had a terrible time with it. There are places where it literally lifts off the side of the house. You also cannot repair it. You have to replace the entire piece, which in some cases means the entire section. Expensive and not worth it!

My husband and I are extremely happy that we went with the vinyl siding by Georgia Pacific. Over the years it has maintained EXACTLY the same color, and it looks clean and very high quality. I dislike nothing about it, it wears well, and I would definitely buy it again for a future home.
