Alside Review: "Homeowner"
Name: AFLocation: Broken Arrow, Ok
Vinyl Siding Satisfaction Rating:
Have had siding on house 5 years. Now have warping and is falling off house. Had a representative from Alside come out. Took about a month and half to get him out there. Did not know if they even looked at the house and siding, but a comment was written in folder that it was labor issue. Don't buy that! I feel they should back their products. My siding looks like slices of bacon. That's not a labor problem, but a defective product.

Alside Review: "UNHAPPY CUSTOMER"
Name: Angela JonesLocation: SC
Vinyl Siding Satisfaction Rating:
The Alside warranty department is horrible. You are simply wasting time by submitting documentation so they can deny your claim in writing. The denial comes in the form of a generic letter with no reason other than "your concern is not covered under the warranty." Try to call someone on the telephone and you get told "we mailed you a letter" and "all the supervisors and corporate staff are in meetings". I found they meet m-f from 8-5 then go home so you can never reach them nor will you get a call back. Alside is a horrible company who will not stand behind their product!!!!

Alside Review: "Great value vinyl siding: Alside Conquest"
Location: Columbia, TNModel: Conquest
Vinyl Siding Satisfaction Rating:
I have owned my Alside Conquest siding since my house was built, 6 years ago. A few years ago there was a large storm and a tornado touched down nearby and a couple of panels of my siding had some damage where debris had been blown into it and had to be replaced, but other than that, I have had no problems with the siding. Although I expect it to last much longer than six years, thus far I have been very happy with the appearance, durability, and energy efficiency of the siding. It looks the same now as when it was installed on the house, the color hasn't faded at all. As I said, I expect it to last much longer than it already has, but so far I am very happy and when the time comes to replace the siding, I would use this brand again. I would also recommend this brand to my friends if they asked for advice on siding. If you are in the market I would recommend looking into it; it's good siding at a very reasonable price.

Alside Review: "I love my new siding!"
Location: Kokomo, INModel: Prodigy
Vinyl Siding Satisfaction Rating:
I have owned my vinyl siding for about six months now. I love how well it lays on the walls. The fact that it has the foam backing built into the siding itself makes it set so well on the house and look so sharp. The house also seems a bit quieter due to the insulation on the siding as well. I didn't really like that it was more expensive than I thought vinyl siding was going to be for our home, but I guess you get what you pay for. I have not had to do any repairs to my siding yet, but I have been warned no to use any chemicals to wash the siding with. It seems Prodigy siding has a finish on it that is prone to be tarnished by chemical cleaners. I plan to power wash the siding in the fall and just use water. I believe I would definately buy this siding again for a future project. I would also not hesitate to recommend it to a friend as well. It has been a wonderful product so far and seems to be holding up very well.

Alside Review: "Low-maintenance vinyl siding is a boon to a busy lifestyle"
Location: Indianapolis INVinyl Siding Satisfaction Rating:
Vinyl siding is a boon to the busy life. We never have to paint our home, and it always looks white, and almost-new. Cleaning the siding is extremely easy. We usually just hose it off. In rare cases, we will get a long handled squeegee and sponge it off. It rarely needs maintenance of any sort. For the most part, we just enjoy the neat, well-maintained appearance with little effort. We've lived in our home for 11 years, and it looks as good as the day we bought it. Although I've heard that most reputable brands are good; we have certainly enjoyed our Alside vinyl siding. Are there any down sides at all to vinyl siding? Yes, unfortunately there are. There have been times when we wanted drill something into the wall - a flagpole, or a hook. Trying to install something is a challenge. It is not nearly as simple as screwing a flagpole into wooden siding. Yet, overall, the neat appearance, coupled with the lack of any maintenance, make vinyl siding something we would recommend to anyone.

Alside Review: "pleased"
Location: san diego, caVinyl Siding Satisfaction Rating:
I have had their siding on my home for about twelve years now, and it has been absolutely, positively, without even a single doubt maintenance free. It has the wood grain look of a natural wood, and the selection of colors that was offered to me, my wife, or roommate, and his husband were, well extensive does not begin to explain. They were closer to infinite, and we matched the feel, the style, and the personality of the house perfectly. The selection of accessory products for doors, windows, corners and other key accent areas was very, very large as well, which is great because given the odd, unusual, often difficult design of our early post modern home that is very often an issue which we face
